NFL MT Recruitment through GATE 2014

National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has issued Notification for Recruitment of Management Trainee through GATE 2014. The recruitment would be done for the disciplines of Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Materials  disciplines and the NFL online application form would be available in December, 2013. However, you need to apply for GATE 2014 right now (i.e. upto 3rd October, 2013) for NFL MT Recruitment 2014.

Number of NFL MT Vacancy through GATE 2014

There are 49 total NFL MT vacancy for which this recruitment would be done and you can find the discipline-wise, category-wise vacancy in the table at right

Salary for NFL MT:

NFL is offering salary for the MT in the pay-scale of Rs. 16400-3%-40500 during one-year training after which they will be absorbed as Engineers/Officers in NFL.

Selection Process for NFL Recruitment through GATE 2014:

The MT would be shortlisted based on GATE 2014 score and than called for the Interview. Merit list would be prepared based on GATE 2014 score and performance in Interview, weigtage of which would be 80%: GATE 2014 score and 20%: Interview.

Eligibility for NFL MT:

Age Eligibility: Maximum 27 years as on 01.01.2014.

DOB not before 01.01.87

Educational Qualification Eligibility: 

Min. 60% (For SC/ST/PWD: 50%) in qualifying degree exam in the relevant disciplines.

IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2014 Notification

OCL Vacancy through GATE 2014:

As stated above, this latest IOCL vacancy is for two category of engineering vacancies:
1.0 Officers/Engineers
2.0 Assistant Officers/Assistant Engineers.
In addition to above, there would be few openings for Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs)., to be recruited on contractual basis for 1-year during which lump sum stipend is paid. On satisfactory performance, they may be regularized in IOCL.

Recruitment for all these positions would be done through GATE 2014. Number of vacancies has not been disclosed at this stage by IOCL, but I think same would be notified in during the form submission stage.

As you can find in the notification and in FAQ, Assistant Officers/Assistant Engineers is an executive level position, though one grade lower than Officers/Engineers.

Salary for IOCL Officers/Engineers:
Salary for Officers/Engineers: basic pay of Rs. 24,900/-per month (CTC approx: Rs 10.50 lakhs)
Salary for Assistant Officers/Engineers: basic pay of Rs. 20,600/-per month (CTC approx: Rs 7.0 lakhs)

Selection Process for IOCL Recruitment through GATE 2014:
After you apply for IOCL job with GATE 2014 registration number, your GATE 2014 score would be obtained by IOCL from GATE authority, shortlist the same and than call the candidates for GD & Interview. Merit list would be prepared based on GATE 2014 score and performance in GD/PI.

Eligibility for IOCL Officers/Engineers:

Age Eligibility: Maximum 26 years as on 30th June, 2014.
(For Both Officers/ Engineers and Assistant Officers/ Assistant Engineers). Age relaxations exists for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification Eligibility: 
Min. 65% (For SC/ST/PWD: 55%) in qualifying degree exam in the relevant disciplines.

GATE 2014 subjects for IOCL Recruitment:

You have to appear in following GATE 2014 papers for this IOCL recruitment:
For Both Officers/ Engineers and Assistant Officers/ Assistant Engineers: CH, CE, EE, IN, ME, MT.
For Officers/ Engineers only: CS.

One word of caution: You have to appear in GATE 2014 paper in the subject of your specialization in degree. For example, if you are in studying in Instrumentation in degree, you should appear in IN paper only and not EC paper.

IOCL GATE 2014 Recruitment Online Form:

It is need less to say that you have to apply for GATE 2014 and qualify in the same to apply for IOCL recruitment. Last date for submission of GATE 2014 form is 1st October.
With the GATE 2014 registration number (as appearing in the GATE 2014 admit card to be available from 18th December, 2013), you have to apply for IOCL job.

POWERGRID ET Recruitment 2014 through GATE 2014

POWERGRID ET vacancies 2014:

Exact Number of Executive Trainee vacancies is not available at this moment, but POWERGRID is going to recruit through GATE 2014 from Electrical engineering branch and hence you have to appear in EE paper of GATE 2014.

POWERGRID Executive Trainee Salary:

POWERGRID is offering ET salary in the pay scale of Rs. 24900-50500 with which the CTC is Rs. 7.65 lakhs per annum during the one-year training period. After successful completion of the training the CTC offered is Rs. 13.4 lakhs per annum.

Eligibility for POWERGRID ET:

Age Eligibility:

Maximum 28 years. (as on 31.12.2013)

Age relaxations exists for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification Eligibility:

Minimum 65% aggregate (just pass mark for SC/ST/PWD candidates) marks in Bachelor degree of Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. Engg.) in disciplines: Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering OR
AMIE in Electrical Engineering (Minimum 65% with both Sections A & B cleared by 31.03.2014)

Final year students can also apply provided their results are declared by results by 14.08.2014.

POWERGRID Recruitment 2014 Online Form:

You have to register (i.e. apply) actually twice for POWERGRID ET positions: once for GATE & than for POWERGRID.

First you have to apply online for GATE 2014.

Subsequent to your online registration for GATE 2014, you would be able to download the GATE 2014 Admit card from 1st January 2014 onwards.  Now you have to use the "GATE-2014 Registration Number" as given in the admit card to register online for POWERGRID ET Recruitment 2014.

The POWERGRID ET Recruitment 2014 Online form would be available from 7th January, 2014 in this POWERGRID Career website. Last date for submission of  POWERGRID ET Recruitment 2014 Online form is second week of February 2014.

HPCL Graduate Engineer Trainee vacancy 2014:
HPCL would notify branch-wise break-up of vacancies during the form submission stage - i.e. by around 5th November 2013. Number of vacancies in HPCL through GATE 2013 last year was 250.

GATE 2014 Papers for HPCL Recruitment:

List of engineering branches from which HPCL is going to recruit through GATE 2014 are as follows:
Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication & Instrumentation Engineering.

Corresponding GATE 2014 papers in which you should appear for the HPCL Graduate Engineer job is:
ME, CE, EE, EC & IN.

HPCL Graduate Engineer Trainees (ET) Salary:

For the first six months (i.e. in the training period), HPCL offers the Graduate Engineer trainees a consolidated stipend of Rs. 33,000/- per month.

On successful completion of training, Graduate Engineers will be absorbed in management cadre (Grade-A) in the salary scale of Rs.24,900-50,500/-, with which the CTC is Rs. 9.4 lakhs per annum (approx).

Eligibility for HPCL Graduate Engineer Trainees (ET):

Age Eligibility:

Maximum 25 years as on 30th June 2014  (DOB should be on or after 30.06.1989)

Age relaxations exists for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification Eligibility:

Minimum 60% (For SC/ST/PWD: 50%) aggregate marks in full time degrees in Engineering.

If you are a Final year / semester student than you may also apply, provided you can submit the final mark sheet by 31st August 2014.
